Amy & Brian
October 31st 2020
Amy & Brian are both fun and unique. When Amy first contacted me about her simple wedding on Halloween day, I knew that it would be an adventure. Covid changed their original plans but they were able to make things work on a family member's property and it was absolutely perfect.
Our first adventure was deep into the game lands close by. There we found giant rock formations in the middle of the woods with the sunlight peeking from behind the trees it made the perfect location for a few photos. I love that they chose to do bridal party photos and couple photos prior to the ceremony.
As the ceremony drew close, family and friends in costumes and masks formed lines down the dirt path covered in crinkling autumn leaves. The groomsmen started down the path in a spooky formation. Amy followed the bridal party with her father and stepfather arm in arm. She met her groom at the altar. Music played in the background on the piano. They exchanged their vows with their unique fox and skeleton rings and sealed it all with a kiss.
The wide-open fields and beautiful paths gave us plenty of room for family photos and more couples photos. The sun's last bit of light lit up the sky perfectly behind us. The masks came out and we captured some unique and pretty awesome moments.
As it grew dark, what better fit for a spooky wedding than a blue moon on Halloween night. They ended the night with their family and friends with tons of food, laughter, and music. You will find that all of the decorations and paintings (even the raccoon mask on the groom) were created by the bride. Amy is one of the most talented people I have ever met. I was completely blown away. My favorite photo of the night is on the giant moon she created. Feel free to leave some love for the bride and how incredible she is!
Thank you Amy for allowing me to capture your moments and trusting me with your wedding day! I wish you many blessings, peace, and a lifetime of happiness in your marriage.
